It should be fairly easy to extend the 2 wires to supply power to the
fan and much easier than finding appropriate cables for the drives.

I suggested drilling holes/slots in the bay covers, because you might
need to mount the fan to those covers - at least that might be the
easiest way to do it.

Ok, so it's dumb and low tech - but it might work for you and it's
relatively inexpensive to boot.
