Summary of 'An Introduction to Stacked Git'
-------------------------------------------

An Introduction to Stacked Git (StGit; 'stg')
Git ('git') is a distributed revision control and source code
management (SCM) system that is used by the Linux kernel
community and numerous other open source projects. StGit
(Stacked Git; 'stg') is a Python application providing similar
functionality to Quilt (i.e. pushing/popping patches to/from a
stack) on top of Git. With StGit, one can easily develop and
manage patch series that consist of hundreds of individual
patches.

The presentation will be more developer oriented - a "live
demonstration" and not a slick slide show - in which Myron will
emulate the development of a patch series using StGit,
demonstrating its use and capabilities. Myron Stowe is a Linux
kernel developer specializing in hardware enablement, primarily
in the areas of PCI and ACPI.

Pre meeting food
----------------

and join us for a bite to eat. We'll start the meeting about 7:15.
