The October Boulder Linux Users Group meeting is coming up.

Speaker: Alan Robertson

Title: Modeling and Monitoring Hundreds of Thousands of Servers

Abstract: A dirty little secret in IT is that we don’t always know what our
systems are doing and we don’t always fully monitor them. The Assimilation
Project integrates continuous discovery and monitoring, creating a graph
configuration management data base (CMDB) of your servers, switches and
services - scalably monitoring them with near-zero configuration. We also
use Docker to build and test the code. Come learn how to put your system
knowledge in one place and keep it automatically updated., and a little
about our experiences using Docker.

  When : 7:15 p.m. on Thu, October 9, 2014

Where : Applied Trust, 1033 Walnut St, Bulder, CO 80302
