[lug] Mac package managers?

I also like Macports for packages on Macs. A lot of my coworkers prefer
brew, but as far as I can tell they are roughly equivalent. They each have
their own set of slightly different quirks, but they both get the job done.
I haven't used fink in years, but when I did it was a pain in the ass.
Don't know if that's true anymore.

I'd just make sure the one you run with has packages for the stuff you want
and dive in.
