Interesting, it looks like Google will be leveraging its Webpass
(webpass.net) acquisition to begin delivering point-to-point 3.5GHz
wireless broadband for residential customers without trenching fiber:

Obviously this would help them roll out high-speed service more
quickly than with physical fiber; and it looks like Boulder will be
one of the cities where the technology will be tested!

This begs the question: Does anyone know what conduit is being
trenched along Broadway/Lashley?  Looks like multiple fiber conduits
to me...
