[lug] Suspicous: "host"/"DNS" Showing Odd Results (Fedora)

So it seems this is what comcast DNS is really putting out. Apparently there are times when firefox's use of OpenSSL can lock up the browser if the DNS switches from seeing urlrw01.cable.comcast.com to instead seeing civrightsvoices.com in the middle of a query (basically an SSL login page is started, and then another page is loaded using SSL in a different tab at the same time and the same dotted-decimal IP changes its text name for the same address and an OpenSSL failure crashes/locks firefox).

I'm not sure it would do any good to report it to comcast, they tend to not listen.

It's possible comcast DNS was compromised, but it isn't my internal network which is the problem (you would have a different cable modem and so it is unlikely both yours and mine would both have the same problem...more likely it is at the comcast server).

I get the same dig results from a system on the east coast (no isp/cable modem involved).
