Oh, what the heck.

There will never be agreement here, because the foundations are
different. It comes down to utilitarian philosophy vs. personal liberty.

On the one side, it's "You're free to take whatever precautions you wish
to take to avoid contagion, and others are free to not do so, and go
about their business." Likewise, business are free to make their own
decisions regarding remaining open, and under what conditions they'll
allow patrons into their establishments.

The other end was stated succinctly by Mr. Spock, as his body was dying
in the matter/anti-matter reactor chamber.

Jared Polis is obviously a utilitarian, as well as being enamored of the
power of the state.

I agree with David.
