I think that would work, because it should trust the cert in the store over
the download.

I just checked www.cotse.net both on 443
<https://decoder.link/sslchecker/www.cotse.net/443> and 25
<https://decoder.link/sslchecker/www.cotse.net/25>, and it seems that the
intermediate cert is ok.
