well, I haven't gotten it to install yet on anything, so I am not
sure... however:
ls -la *ldap*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 28183 Sep 27 10:30 auth_ldap-1.4.0-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 41726 Sep 27 10:33 nss_ldap-85-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1337579 Sep 27 10:33 openldap-1.2.7-2.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 114274 Sep 27 10:33 openldap-devel-1.2.7-2.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 43557 Sep 27 10:33 pam_ldap-36-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 12344 Sep 27 10:33 php-ldap-3.0.12-6.i386.rpm
So, it looks to me like they have setup a pam module for ldap. Since
everything is already Pam-ified, you can use ldap for most anything...
