If you are looking for something to run out of the box, I'd go with a Linux
vendor like VA or Penguin.  They know which components have good Linux support,
and those are the ones they use to configure systems.  I've evaluated their
systems and been impressed.

Their prices are competitive with top tier system vendors like Dell or HP, but
you'll pay more than a build-it-yourself or garage-PC-company system.
