Jonathan Corbet is a partner in Eklektix, Inc., a Boulder-based firm
which provides information, training, and engineering consulting around
open source software. Mr. Corbet is an editor of the Linux Weekly
News, and a member of the Linux Professional Institute Advisory
Council.
Abstract:
There are a number of programs out there which are working toward the
certification of Linux system administrators. This talk will look at Linux
professional certification, why it might be useful, and who is who in the
certification arena. Particular attention will be paid to the Linux
Professional Institute and its certification program.
