Yellow Dog is a product of Terra Soft Solutions Inc. located in Loveland
http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/ydl_contact.html. Why not simply contact
them and have them give an "official" demo of their product?

I can loan you some power strips.
I'd personally like to see some more demos of Linux being used for real
world applications. How about:
Accounting/Finance - Is there anything that can substitute or replace
Quicken?
Business Software - Spreadsheets, Wordprocessors, Business Databases
ApplixWare, Star Office
Research and Data Analysis - Things like Gnuplot, Octave, Mathematica,
Labview, NumPy, etc.
Graphics and Image Processing - Gimp, XV, Imagemagick, Scanning,
Digital Camera Interfaces, NumPy
Games - (I don't play too many so don't have a lot of suggestions)
Programming - PERL, Python, C, C++, etc.
MSWindows Compatibility - WINE, DOSEMU, How does one work with MSWord
and Excel Documents?
Basically, we are all using Linux for something, what is it that you use
your computer for that is useful and cool? Or in other words, if someone
asked you why you would use Linux instead of another operating system what
could you show them? How does Linux facilitate getting your work done?
Does Linux support all of the things people would do with one of those
"other" operating systems? What does it do better and why?
