I spoke with Mr. Patton on the phone a week or so ago, after which he
sent a an e-mail loaded with MSWord attachments :^o . I've tried to par
this down to something a bit more manageable to pass on to everyone. In
particular check out their website at:
http://www.techshows.com/Denver/Denver-map.htm
I've attached his e-mail message and the text of the Highlights document
below. (If you'd like copies of the MSWord documents let me know).
They are also looking for people to serve on their advisory council
<http://www.techshows.com/Denver/Denver-advisory.htm>. We
might want to consider getting someone in there.
What does everyone think about this? Do we want to get involved?

Wade as I said there are two main goals we hope to succeed in working with
the users groups/ association.
1. Provide an educational opportunity to the membership by providing
complimentary passes to all exhibits and conferences. Letting the
membership tell us what kinds of products and services they would like to
see at the event via advisory council.
2. Provide a good access to a broad band of technology for the IT Community
of Denver and surrounding areas.
Here are some of the hightlights.
If some of the membership would like to present a seminar on Linux or have a
complimentary exhibit space to help drive membership let me know, we would
gladly accomodate you. Talk soon.
Thank you,
Tony Patton
