[lug] SQL Server

At one time, MS SQL Server was indeed the same as Sybase. About 5-6 years
ago, Microsoft and Sybase agreed to go their separate ways and the products
have diverged.

By the way, did you know that Sybase has a Linux version available of
Adaptive Server? I believe a free download is still available from their
web site (www.sybase.com).

Regards,

Bruce

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't (Microsoft) SQL Server an offshoot of
Sybase?
