[lug] printer support under redhat 6.1

Kevin,

       I tried your method, it caused the system to hang during boot at the point where it was trying to configure eth0.  The /var/log/messages file does contain the error "modprobe" can't locate module parport_lowlevel" so, I do seem to be missing something.
