[lug] NT workstation vs Samba

In order for an NT Workstation to connect to Samba with Samba emulating an
NT Domain controller, you have to create a machine account on the system.
Refer to the URL:

If you have an NT Domain controller and you want Samba to authenticate you
using that then you need to look at the "Password Server" parameter in the
smb.conf man page.

Domain on the NT System to the Linux managed domain?

I am having difficulty logging into my RH6 server from a NT 4 sp5 pc. I try
to add the pc to the domain, that doesn't work. Then I try to map my home
and I get "you are not allowed to login with this account". I can see the
server in Network neighborhood but cannot map to it. Is there anything
specific that I must do on either the client/server side differently for NT?
