[lug] Security comparison between Solaris x86 and Linux??

Anyone have an opinion about the relative security between Linux (specifically 
Redhat/derivatives) and Solaris x86?

Any students/staff/faculty on the CU campus with experience with Linux on the
campus wide network? Security stories?

Additionally, I would like to say goodbye to the LUG here. I've enjoyed my
time in Boulder, but am taking a job in Salt Lake City.

Thanks for all the assistance/help/corrections I've received over the last 2
years! 

I probably won't sign off the list, but I will be significantly more quiet!
