community.  It only comes three times a week and is of general computing 
interest

Association For Computing Machines has recently started a new service.
Technews is a summary of a dozen to 18 new stories of interest to the
computing community that comes out late Monday, Wednesday and Friday
afternoons.  It is run by Gateway.  The last two or three have had 
information on the recent denial of service attacks over the web.  Gateway
is doing a good job.  ACM members get an e-mail abbreviated summary of
the articles by e-mail three times a week when the web site is updated.

http://www.acm.org/technews is available to the public, but only ACM 
members can have e-mail notification of the topics covered.
