[lug] Linux for mac

would someone know of a current linux installation program
for an old 040 (os8) mac? only has a 540 mb hard drive and
24megs/ram. i am looking to learn linux....that is the
machine of availability. would that install over the top of
the os8? would i have two operating systems on the mac?

		thanx for your time.....i say some text regarding a
certifying involving linux that ibm is doing....it is about
time that linux gets a recognition!
