[lug] Partitioning and modem problems

Wayde:

We're getting closer on the partitioning. Yes, the problem is that the
extended partition (as a whole--containing hda5 & 6) is primary. I tried
using Partition Magic to move the swap space and extend hda3, but something
happened and I wound up having to nuke both hda3 and 4 and reinstalling
Corel. I am now hoping that I can have hda3 (the Linux install partition)
extend through all the free space, leaving me with just one big Linux
partition. Corel simply won't see any ext2 file system I put inside the
extended partition (though I find it odd that it always sees the FAT
partitions--even the FAT32).

The modem problem will have to wait a few days. Too much to do! Thanks!

Mike
