[lug] irq conflict report

Before, I asked how to get a network card or a scsi card to use some irq
besides 9.  Both were using 9, which seemed to be preventing the network
card from working.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I am certain that I am still confused on
some points, but the system is now working.  I re-tried a LINKSYS card
that failed once.  At start-up the bios reported that it and the SCSI 
device were both using IRQ 9, but after it finished booting, both worked.

??

I have serious doubts about computers being deterministic.
