I find that for most of my listening, the stuff sold as PC speakers is
fairly acceptable.  I'm usually not LISTENING to the music, it's usually
playing in the background while I'm WORKING.  Considering how much of an
audio snob I've been historicly, that's kind of amusing to me...

I don't do that much really serious listening these days though.  I do
usually have a PC hooked up to the serious stereo at home though, usually
for parties.  Unfortunately, most audio devices on PCs aren't THAT good
until you start going with external DACs and the like (which sadly are
under-represented in the linux drivers...

Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe.  ;-)
