[lug] NIC fact/fiction

A spokesperson for Time-Warner-AOL-AT&T-Everything was quoted as saying:

    "Finally! Now we know why the entire cable system shutsdown whenever we
     add a new subscriber."

Also, one should NEVER, I repeat, NEVER, install or remove software from an
electronic system that is turned on!
