It is easier for me to be in NT for some things (though VNCing
to servers to do admin tasks works pretty well).  However, when
I download a new package/source code/whatever and want to move
it to my linux server, it's easier to have my b: drive mapped to
/home/andrew so I can drop the file quickly to my ~/src dir.

The b: drive should be available, even if you have logon scripts
that do mapping.  NT doesn't ever (as far as I can tell) ever 
automatically map to the b: drive, because that's where it would
put the second floppy drive if you install one.  Let's hear it
for legacy.

Right click on Network Neighborhood, choose Map Network Drive.
In the Drive dropdown, pick B:.  In the Path field, put in
//linuxmachine/linuxUserName.  'Course, you have to have samba
running on the linux box, share the home directories, and TCP/IP on
your NT box.
