I keep forgetting that myself. I found this at
http://www.redhat.com/mirrors/LDP/HOWTO/IPCHAINS-HOWTO-4.html; also in
/usr/doc/ipchains-1.3.9 on my RH 6.2 box.

Subject: [lug] ipchains log
I used to know where to find the following information but I've since
forgotten. I need to find out what the different parts of this ipchains log
means. Such as the PROTO, L, S, I, etc.
Sep 17 08:51:59 localhost kernel: Packet log: input DENY eth0 PROTO=6
192.16.122.4:6667 <my.home.ips>:2624 L=44 S=0x00 I=58835 F=0x4000 T=46 (#1)
Anyone point me in the right direction?
Justin
