[lug] JSP and Apache

does it work alone? ie. if you just startup tomcat? I got the tarball and used the script file startup.sh and it works for me on MacOS X (and as most of you may know java and the mac have not had the best of history, so far).

Granted integrating it into apache may be more problematic.... i dunno
