Ok. Windoze has done it. I can't handle it anymore. X it is.

I was installing MSWord using Wine and I forgot I gotta find the/a key so
I quit the install. This left a dialog box image front-and-center that
would not go away. Even when going to another page(r) and returning, as
well as moving windows around. Anyone know how to refresh the screen after
that. Aside from exiting X (gnome). It get's kinda annoying after a while
