For those of you interested in receiving IBM's announcements on Linux (or
many other topics) you can go to

and sign up to receive announcements on whatever you please.  They usually
come through about once a week, usually only a couple of pages - though I
recently got one about forty pages long.  They announce new products, price
changes, discontinued products and have super special offers such as
refurbished ThinkPad 760's for $590, including warranty, refurbished servers
at big discounts, etc.
