Chances are good. All of this sort of logging is determined by
/etc/syslog.conf. Figure out what facility.priority you want
to log, then edit the conf file, and stop and start the syslogd
daemon. NOTE: the file must already exist for syslogd to write
to it -- it won't create it on the fly.
Example:
mail.* -/var/log/mail
logs all mail related messages to /var/log/mail (all priority levels).
The facilities are rpe-determined, use man to figure out what your
choices are.
