Berline feeds? Or 'bare linefeeds' ? In the big world of networking
text lines are supposed to be terminated by 'carriage return/linefeed'
groups ('\r\n' in C or perl parlance). Most network clients are rather
tolerant about missing '\r' i wouldn't count on that (one prominent
example is the java networking code. Not sending a properly formated
line could hang the communication :-)
So maybe one side of the ftp communication isn't sending 'correct'
lines and the other side complainsabout this. Which side reports
the error?
