HI,
Has anyone tried to set up openssh on a suse box? I decided to give SUSE a
try since they now also seem to support PPCs. Currently I have it installed
on an Intel box but have lots of trouble to get openssh-server- installed.
After a long game of installing dependencies of dependencies... I am now
faced with:
rpm -ivh openssh-server-2.3.0p1-1.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
chkconfig >= 0.9 is needed by openssh-server-2.3.0p1-1
initscripts >= 4.16 is needed by openssh-server-2.3.0p1-1
---> followed by:
rpm -ivh chkconfig-1.2.17-1.i386.rpm
file /etc/rc.d/init.d from install of chkconfig-1.2.17-1 conflicts with file from package aaa_dir-2000.7.29-0
Maybe some of the SUSE guys have dealt with this before.
Thanks,
Ferdinand
