Here is an easy question>When using RH 7, am I limited to using RH 7
products or will most linux products work?  Also, where can I find really
good >tutorials on the basics of linux (will purchase if necessary)?

The command man is a basic command usage help.
type
man man

It isnt a tutorial, but man will go along way in helping find correct
command usage. Also, I find that the HOWTO's at
http://www.linux.org/docs/index.html

also go along way. and of course, BLUG people are a wonderful resource.
