[lug] Printing to HP LJ4000

I have a customer with a RH 7.x based installation and needs to print to
an HP LJ4000 as well as a HP 2500c.
The 2500c works fine but the 4000 will not print clearly.
I get a ton of black streaks across the screen..
Anyone recommend a configuration?
