The one I use is

1 (CD) -> (6 & 4 DSR & DTR)
2 (RD) -> 3 TD
3 (TD) -> 2 RD
(4 & 6 DTR & DSR) -> 1
5 (SG) -> 5 SG
7 (RTS) -> 8 CTS
8 (CTS) -> 7 RTS
9 (not connected)

Well, my cable didn't show anything, so I went by Radio Shack as someone
suggested. If you're interested, here's the pinout their null-modem
cable uses:

1 - 4
2 - 3
3 - 2
4 - ( 6 and 1 )
5 - 5
6 - 4
7 - 8
8 - 7
9 - not connected

( Of course using the radio shack cable sees nothing either unless I
plug it into two linux boxes. The Windows to Linux connection gives
nothing, and I know my code is reading data. Why am I not surprised? )
