[lug] More X .... (iMac/X comparison)

I uploaded a screenshot of two screenshots in comparison. One iMac
Netscape and one X Netscape.

I was wondering if someone could tell me what would cause the aliasing
(guess that's the term) in the image on the right (the X screenshot).
I'm running 32 bit mode on iMac and 24 on X but I've ruled that out
since the freaky colors continue outside of the image borders and should
be consistent with the pixels next to them.
