[lug] mail uses sendmail instead of postfix

Hello,

somehow postfix got installed after a SuSE upgrade (did not research the 
causes) and - it works quite well except when mail is sent via the unix 
mail command.

The mail command somehow uses sendmail and this causes problems:

Mar 19 00:15:00 puck sendmail[23146]: f2J7F0f23146: SYSERR(root): Cannot 
open hash database /etc/aliases.db: Invalid argument


The aliases database formats differ and sendmail fails reading the aliases.

How can I influence mail to use postfix instead of sendmail?
