OK, so maybe that only works for Linus. I think the folks at SGI put out a
Linux kernel debugger. You might look for that. Otherwise, yeah, printk's
are usually the route I see taken. I've also used the /proc interface to
allow me to inspect module state, but that's of fairly limited use.

Is there an elegant way to debug kernel code? Or do I just put in a huge
