[lug] Linux on Laptops

Hey thanks everybody for the information about linux on lap tops.
I ended up buying a Sony VIO 128 mb ram 20 gig hard drive pIII 700.
DVD ROM
I installed Red Hat 7.1 which Has the 2.4 kernel once I disabled the Plug N (Pray) Play in the
BIOS everything works great except for my $20.00 PCMCIA network card which
I am going to replace today with a better network card. I guess it does not always
pay to be cheap.
