[lug] Configuring X in KRUD

I've always used sndconfig. Once the driver module
is configured, the the Gnome panel can be setup for
the appropriate beeps, blasts and groans. :-)

Perfect.  How about sound?  Or better yet, where do I look on my hardrive/
KRUD cd's for this info?  I haven't setup the user stuff in red hat for a
long time.  The multimedia sound thing in the gnome control center doesn't
seem to just "make it go."
