[lug] Can't get out of safe mode

Hey I was trying to find some help on the net as to what to do about my 
little problem.  Don't know if you can help or not......When I boot up my 
puter, it won't boot into anything but safe mode, even if I F8 at begining 
and select normal.  Do you have any suggestions.?
