I have a pc with linux redhat 7.1 as a sever
Unfortunately my only available services for an isp
is through dialup. I can not get dsl or cable so I have
a dialup connection. I want to be able to have my other
computers on my ether net be able to access the internet
via through my server through the modem. However my
isp dynamically assigns me a new ip every time I connect.
So I am not sure what I need to use for a default gateway,
or do I even need to concern myself with that. Basically
I really do not know what to do or were to start.  I was
experimenting with with connecting with pppd but the connect
script that uses chat to send my user name and password fails.
Even if I get pppd to successfully connect is that it? I do not
see how after a successful connection has been made how I will
be able to resolve names example yahoo.com linux.com ect.. from
other clients on the ether net. I realize that I am asking for allot
of information and if it is easier just to point me in the right
direction
by either an informative web site or book I will be more than willing to

RTFM but I have not had any luck and don't really know where to
begin.
