Is this just a way of saying, "generic GNU/Linux", or is there a wildly popular Polish distribution that I should be using? I couldn't find anything about it in their help section.

I've had a sneaking suspicion that it is *literally* a Polish language
distribution...test an rpm on something obvious, like a text editor. Or
use a source rpm and view the tarball from install of it...should be
clues in the README's or similar files if it really is a non-english
language version.
