[lug] LCD's and X

General question(s).  Are there issues with getting X going with desktop
LCD's?  I've been poking around historical usenet posts, and I haven't
run across the "Loaded X distribution, and it worked great out of the
box" type of posts.  I seem to finding more of the "Started X and got a
black screen" types.  Also wondering about DVI support, and if it makes
a noticeable difference over analog.  Any blugers messed around with
these buggers?
