[lug] Linux laptop projector woes

Phil,

Thanks much for your tips. I believe it was Sean who reminded me to
always have alternate forms of presentation available (always a good
idea, and in the end I used PowerPoint), but in my case the point of
the demonstration was to show our project running on Linux. Yours is
the first advice I have received which is useful from the Linux point
of view.

After some struggling with my XF86Config I got the mode lines to work
and was then able to make a recalcitrant projector project.

Thanks again,
Glenn Murray
