I've used Arkeia's (http://www.arkeia.com) free (beer) backup system
at home for a while now and it's doing a fine job.  I like that I can
back up my Windows boxen from a central linux machine.

I've done several small restores and they've all been fine.

The only real complaint I have is that the interface is a bit baroque.
