Now if we could just get the i810 to work with different sample rates so 
it's somewhat usable. I Have MANY problems with i810. XMMS works ok. But 
  when it plays icecast streams (22khz) it sounds like the chipmuncks 
because i810 only supposts 44khz. It's totally non functional with Quake 
2-3 and many Loki titles.

When building a linux box for persnal use, stay far far away from this 
piece of hardware.
