[lug] SSH setup

The easiest (and safest) way to cripple telnet on a Red Hat is to run "rpm
-e telnet-server". To activate the SSH daemon run "chkconfig sshd on;
service sshd start". The "service" command may not exist in RH6.2, so you
may need to run "/etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd start" instead to get the daemon
started.

Subject: [lug] SSH setup

Greetings.
     I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction to
switch my Linux boxes (RH 6.2, 7.0) from using telnet server to SSH. I
have already downloaded all the RPM's for my distributions but need to know
how to cripple telnet and activate SSH server's at bootup on both of these
machines.

Thanks already,
Mark d.
