[lug] Netscape 6.1 activation?

Recently there were some nice remarks about Netscape 6.1 (I remember 6.0
remarks weren't so nice), and I was thinking about giving it a try. But
I see on the Netscape web page, looking at info on the new browser, that
the browser might require "activation". Does NS 6.1 require me to give
name and other personal data out to Netscape, or else it can't be used?
Is NS doing something new that might leave a foul taste?
