[lug] Netscape 6.1 activation?

I am pretty sure you don't have to activate. It is mainly so you have 
mail and calendar on Netscape's site (and so they can spam you). I think 
it might tie in also to the IM service they offer because it kept trying 
to connect in that stupid bar on the left when I was already connected 
with AIM (in windows).
