This has started to be a common theme from many corners.  Here is another
article that fits into the same basic scenario.

This article discusses some of the legal ramifications of the DMCA on the
scientific research community.  Microsoft can distract, and that is bad.  
When legal precedences get set for this sort of thing it starts to get a
bit more scary.
